Story

Mental Health is so important, particularly amongst men who remain silent. Suffering in silence.

The Banger/ Stock Car racing community is predominately male orientated and has suffered it’s share of tragedy in this area.

We hope to use two race meetings to raise awareness and money for charity, but most importantly aim to get men talking.

Sat 28th May –5pm - 2L Banger War of the Worlds, Junior Bangers & 1300 Stock Cars - Raising awareness for Mens Mental Health

Sat 2nd July – 5pm - Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds Teams & F1 Stock Car Racing - Raising funds and awareness for Mens Mental Health with CALM

About the charity

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
