We promote good mental health and wellbeing to support the legal community in the UK

Story

The 2023 cohort of trainees at Taylor Wessing have come together to embark on a significant challenge for charity.

On 18 October 2024, we will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. This demanding walk will see us conquer the peaks in under 12 hours as we raise funds for a cause close to our hearts: @LawCare.

LawCare is a remarkable charity dedicated to promoting positive mental health and well-being within the legal community. As trainees navigating the pressures and demands of our roles, we understand firsthand the importance of mental health support. By undertaking this challenge together, we aim to support each other while making a meaningful contribution to an organisation that provides invaluable assistance to legal professionals.

We invite you to join us in supporting LawCare by donating through our JustGiving page. Every contribution will make a difference and help foster a healthier working environment within the legal sector.

Thank you for your generous support!

About LawCare

LawCare is an independent charity working to promote good mental health and wellbeing in legal workplaces and drive change in education, training and practice.

Money raised will help us continue to provide emotional support on the phone and online for legal professionals struggling with their mental health issues. It will also help us to carry out research to better understand the factors that contribute to poor mental health in the legal professions, so we can address these issues in the public interest and influence change in the culture.

We provide information and support to anyone in the legal community experiencing mental health and wellbeing problems. We work to raise awareness, promote understanding and to improve the culture and practice of law. We do this through support (helpline, peer support, webchat, resources), prevention and education (information, training, awareness, tackling stigma), research (understanding the impact the culture and practice of law has on wellbeing and mental health) and by driving positive change in education, training and practice.
