We're cycling 500 miles from Edinburgh to Oxford during Organ Donation Week 2023, stopping off at transplant centres around the UK en route to raise awareness of living kidney donation and to show people you can lead a full and healthy life with only one kidney. There are more than 5000 people in the UK in need of a kidney and every year around 250 people die because there are not enough kidneys from deceased donors. At least four members of the team have donated a kidney to someone on the transplant waiting list.
