After taking a sociology class on poverty at TRCC, we were inspired to take action. We gained further understanding on why poverty persists throughout the world. While by no means do we believe that we genuinely know how to completely eradicate poverty, we do believe that small actions matter and can make a difference.

Donating goats to Haitian women is one small action we can take to support Haitian rural families. Goats are a tremendous financial asset for the poor. They graze the land and regenerate it in the process, making the land more productive. It is also so a valuable source of protein for malnutrition.
