Story
14 colleagues, 10 locations and a run around the world to support economic relief efforts for those who are struggling to recover from the economic impact of COVID-19. Like so many of you across the globe, we're adapting to the times of remote working and trying to stay connected with our friends, family teams, and the communities in which we live and work.
That's why this group of Standard Chartered employees have decided to support the Standard Chartered Home Run in a way that represents the diversity of the function we work in at in the Bank.
On 24-25 October, we are hitting the road on a shared global marathon, virtually passing "the baton" onto the next runner from Newark to London, Kampala, Baghdad, Dubai, Chennai, Taiwan, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and all the way to the base of Mount Fuji!
Any donation big or small will go directly this worthwhile cause.
A massive thanks from our growing team of runners!
What your donation will go to: The Standard Chartered Foundation focuses on tackling inequality. It promotes greater economic inclusion for disadvantaged young people from low-income households, particularly girls, women and people with visual impairments, providing opportunities to make a better future for themselves and their families. The funds you donate will support economic recovery for disadvantaged young people who have been impacted by COVID-19, through Futuremakers by Standard Chartered, our global initiative to tackle inequality. Futuremakers provides opportunities for disadvantaged young people through education, employability and entrepreneurship programmes.
