Each year, community members gather at Newburyport's Waterfront Park to walk a scenic 3-mile route in honor of victims and survivors of domestic violence, and to raise needed funds for the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center.

Story

We are participating in Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center's 31sr Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence. This year's walk will be held on Sunday, October 2.

The Turkey Hill Trotters have been walking as a team for many years and have been successful in raising money to support the most important work of this organization. We hope to do the same again this year!

About the charity

Our mission is to empower individuals and engage communities to end domestic violence. We offer free, comprehensive services that support adult and child survivors healing from the trauma of domestic abuse; prevention programs in schools; and tools to reduce domestic violence homicides.
