On October 19th, two of The Welcome Centre trustees are each running a marathon. Andrew (our chair of trustees) will be taking on the Ljubljana marathon (Slovenia) while Rachel will be running her first ever marathon at the Yorkshire marathon (York).

The Welcome Centre is one of the largest independent food banks in the UK, providing vital support for thousands of individuals and families in crisis across Kirklees.

Last year, The Welcome Centre provided 368,385 meals to people in crisis across South Kirklees. Nearly 2000 households were also supported with advice, guidance, and help accessing other services and support.
