Story
On the night of 16-17 May 1943, the RAF's 617 Squadron carried out an audacious bombing raid attacking dams serving the Ruhr valley, leaving German factories and mines badly damaged. On the 13 May, my son David, my brother Richard and myself will joining many others on the Dambusters Heritage Ride, cycling 100 miles through Lincolnshire, stopping at various prominent sites to commemorate the 80th anniversary of this daring raid. By sponsoring our cycle ride you will be helping us to raise monies for the RAF Benevolent Fund. Thank you
