Ruils Independent Living is a local charity supporting disabled people to live independent lives, to be part of their community, and to live their lives to the full.

Our team will be swimming to raise money for Ruils Children’s Services- helping children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities to navigate the world of education, home and social lives and the transition to adulthood- we provide vital support and advice to parents and carers.

The Swimathon is about swimming as many lengths as possible in 55 minutes, relay style, in teams of up to 10 people at Teddington Pool, and getting sponsored for doing so! Since it started in 2005, it has raised over £80,000 for a huge variety of local and international charities.
