Story
Here we are again..
...another you older and another year wise......oh hang on.
In the past I've raised money by running, biking, triathloning, ironmaning, growing facial hair and swimming. Last year's challenge was for Help for Hero's where I swam 47km in a month (the combined length of the Normandy beaches used in the d-day landings).
This year, after some very fine targeted advertising on the book face, I've signed up for UltraSwim 33.3 Montenegro.
"WHAT'S THAT?", I hear you shout.
Well, it's the iconic English Channel distance of 33.3km, but the kind people of UltraSwim spread it across between 5 to 7 swims and over a 4 day long weekend, oh and 1 of the swims is a Marathon Swim qualifying distance of 10km, in one go, with a feed station on the back of a boat, and it's held along the Montenegro coast line, and includes a swim from Croatia to Montenegro, oh and swimming through some submarine tunnels. The event takes place on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th of October.

Now, there isn't a designated charity for this, so this year I'm choosing 2 that really mean something to me and my family.
So you can support me, by supporting one of these two fantastic charities.
Endometriosis UK
My wife Amy suffered with this debilitating disease for years, and it impacts on the physical and mental health of 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth in the UK, but it often goes mis-diagnosed or not diagnosed at all.
Mind: Hertfordshire Network
A Hertfordshire based charity who support adults, children and young people who are experiencing mental health issues, which includes https://www.withyouth.org which has directly helped my youngest.
