WaterAid Scotland Munro Challenge 2024
Campaign by WaterAid (RCN 288701 (England and Wales) and SC039479 (Scotland))
Challenge yourself to tackle one of Scotland's highest peaks, raising money for WaterAid’s work in Rwanda – known as the land of a thousand hills - helping to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene a normal part of daily life.

Story

The intrepid Team Unicornios Horizonte, a gallant band of water warriors from Scottish Water Horizons, is gearing up for a monumental quest. This June, they'll ascend the mighty Ben Lawers, the Southern Highlands' loftiest peak and the UK's tenth highest, no less!

Their noble cause? To aid WaterAid in hydrating humanity, one clean drop at a time. With every step up those rugged Munros, they're stepping up for good hygiene and decent toilets for all. This year's Munro Challenge is more than just a hike; it's a hike with heart, supporting WaterAid's efforts in Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills—and now, thanks to Team Unicornios Horizonte, a thousand hopes. So, we lace up our boots, and spurred on by donations from equally gallant providers, because every penny elevates their mission from the highlands of Scotland to the hills of Rwanda. Go Team Unicornios, climb every mountain, ford every stream, follow every rainbow, 'til you find your dream of a better, more hydrated world!
