Raising money for OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity

OSCAR's PBTC was set up in memory of Oscar Hughes, a 9-year-old who died of a brain tumour in 2014. His journey was heartbreaking yet inspiring. OSCAR's aims to provide support and care to children with brain tumours, raise awareness to help diagnosis and fund research into better treatments.

Story

This Friday 17th June, 9 of us from Walker Crips York Office - Don Formhals, Brett Duncan, James Gillespie, Scott Palmer, James Bonarius, Kyle Davies, Sam Backhouse, Ed Shannon-Adams and George Smart are taking part in the Wharfedale Ton. A cycling event which takes in 100 miles and over 4500ft of ascent. Starting and finishing in lkley, taking a very scenic and on times hilly route into the North yorkshire countryside

We've chosen to raise some money for a local York charity OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity. The charity provides support and care for children who face brain tumours but to also fund research to drive down diagnosis time, Increase survival rate but most of all, Improve children's quality of life during and after treatment

Any donations to this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated and can be done so by following this link

Look forward to sharing with you some of the stories and pictures of the day

Thanks
