Story
Our most precious sweetie Bonita crossed the rainbow bridge on the 16th July 2025, 6 weeks short of her 11th birthday, following her struggle with Westie Lung Disease.
She fought so hard for us, but it was time for her to run free over the rainbow bridge, painfree, to her human daddy who was waiting there for her. We were able to help her cross the bridge peacefully at home with her in our arms, surrounded by those who loved her immensely. She brought so much joy, happiness and love into our lives. If we had her forever, it still wouldn't be enough. We are just so heartbroken and lost without her.
Bonita's Woofpack - Bridgette, Tanya, Emma, Mary, Georgy, Les, Linda, Dave and Mason will be Walking to Remember her and all the pets we have lost along the way, on 14th September 2025 as part of the RSPCA'S National Pet Memorial day.
Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family, the grief is real. Yet many people feel they have to carry it quietly, unsupported. This special event shines a light on pet grief, reducing stigmas and helps people support one another. Pets hold a treasured place in our hearts, and the bond we share doesn't end when they are gone.
So, please donate and help us turn precious memories into meaningful support – letting the love live on through every penny raised. A lasting tribute that helps other animals find the care and compassion they deserve.
Always loved, never forgotten ❤️
