We are a team of staff from Ward 3 Kingsway Care Centre, taking part in The Kiltwalk, a 20 mile walk from St Andrews to Dundee. We are doing this to raise funds to support our ward and the incredible people we care for every day.

Our ward supports individuals living with dementia and other organic illness, and we see first hand how important a safe, comforting, and stimulating environment is to their wellbeing. Small, thoughtful additions can have a huge impact, helping to reduce anxiety, encourage engagement, and bring moments of joy and connection.

The money we raise will go directly towards enhancing the ward environment, funding meaningful activities, sensory resources, and equipment that support both physical and emotional wellbeing. These extras help us provide person centred care that truly makes a difference to our patients daily lives.
