Willmott Dixon Wild Swimmer's fundraising for Level Water

Raising money for Level Water

24hr Wild Swim Relay: Trifarm 2025 · 28 June 2025 ·

The challenge is simple. Gather a team of up to 8 swimmers and swim for an hour each, for 24 hours. It really doesn’t matter what your ability is. It’s not a race, no one is being timed or tracked. You swim as much as you want, as fast as you want.

Story

What a weekend!

We actually did it — we made it through the 24 hour swim relay! It was seriously tough (and that’s putting it mildly). Dragging ourselves out of bed in the middle of the night after barely any sleep to get back in the pool was rough… but once you were in the water, it was kind of magical.

Since finishing, there have been lots of naps, a fair amount of aches and pains, and definitely not enough massages.

A massive thank you for your donations and support, we way exceeded our target, it means that 150 swimming lessons will be provided to children with disabilities. It honestly made the hardest parts that much easier to push through. 💙

A new team has been formed in Willmott Dixon, bringing people from Sustainability, SAS, London+East, Interiors and the South, our focus ? Open water swimming ! Our ambitious, or crazy, team are taking part in a 24-hour outdoor swim relay this June to support Level Water, a charity that provides one-to-one swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the UK.

One lesson costs just £15, and this small amount can make a life-changing impact—helping children gain confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of swimming.

By sponsoring us, you’ll be helping to fund three months of lessons for a child who might otherwise miss out on the opportunity to learn this essential life skill.

Every donation counts—thank you for your support!

The first splash. The holding your breath. The echoes of laughter. The wet hair. The lifted spirits. The joy of gliding through water. The smile that lasts all day.

Swimming is like nothing else. The skills you develop, the confidence you build and the joys you feel are all universal. Yet access to swimming in the UK is not.

At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities.

Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
