Great North Run 2022
Campaign by Bowel Cancer UK (RCN 1071038)
The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with an incredible atmosphere. It's an amazing event to be a part of whether you're after a personal best or just wanting to be a part of something special.

Story

This year Josephine, Bridget, Julia, Tom, Harry and I (Celia) are all running the Great North Run. We are raising money for bowel cancer in memory of our uncle/brother Richard Allen who sadly passed away from bowel cancer. We are also running for our uncle Adrian who is currently living with stage 4 bowel cancer. We want to raise awareness of bowel cancer symptoms!

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity.

We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

We're here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
