Story
Some of you will know Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2024, Linda underwent surgery and radiotherapy in early 2025, and was put on the dreaded Tamoxifen for 5 years, which is a daily struggle in itself! Linda has been continuing her recovery for 2026 and is also determined to get fitter. Linda used Ayrshire Cancer Support services since her diagnosis and not only did it help her cope with her diagnosis and treatment and its after effects but introduced her to 3 new wonderful friends who now support each other in their continued recovery. Ayrshire Cancer Support is a lifeline, please donate or share to raise awareness of the charity and support what they do for Ayrshire families affected by cancer.

Ayrshire Cancer Support are delighted to launch The Ayrshire 100 - a brand‑new challenge for 2026.
We will cover 100 km over the full month of May, in whatever way works best - walking, running, cycling, swimming, or a mix of everything.
In its debut year, Ayrshire Cancer Support hope the people of Ayrshire will come together, get active, and support a cause close to home. Whether you’re already out walking regularly or looking for a reason to start, this is a great way to move more and make a meaningful difference in our community
