Western Sydney Solar Team designs and manufactures solar powered vehicles in house to compete in different events across the globe. The team is multidisciplinary and aims to drive the shift towards sustainable solutions by innovating with precision engineering and gearing up leaders of the future. The solar car team has a rich pedigree placing 6th in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, consisting of nearly 50 teams from around the world, and 1st in the American Solar Challenge, beating Michigan Universities 17 year winning streak during the first attempt.
