Our merry band of runners will once again be taking part in this year's Wigan 10k to raise funds for local charities doing amazing work, providing support to people in some of their toughest times.

Samaritans is available round the clock, every single day of the year providing a safe place for anyone struggling to cope, whoever they are, however they feel, whatever life has done to them. Our local Wigan branch is part of the national charity, supported by dedicated volunteers.

SoBS

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) is a national charity that provides support to people over the age of 18 impacted by suicide.

The mission of SoBS is to provide free peer support to adults bereaved by suicide in a timely and open-ended manner and our vision is that no one bereaved by suicide has to face their loss alone.

We provide a safe and confidential environment in which bereaved people can share their experiences and feelings.
