On Saturday 12th September Netta, Flo, Archie, Guy and Ziggy will be cycling round as many churches as they can in order to raise money for Wilby church.

Wilby is the hamlet where we live. It consists of 16 houses and our only amenity and community space is the church. It is a beautiful old building that brings the village together whether they are religious or not. As with all old buildings the cost of keeping it standing is a constant struggle.

Guy has done the bike ride before, and this year is joined by his nephew Ziggy plus Netta, Flo and Archie. This will bring a whole different challenge as none of the rest of us are seasoned bike riders! It is also Netta’s 51st birthday so she has persuaded (bribed??) her 2 children to do it with her. Frankly this deserves sponsorship in itself!
