Raising money for #Willdoes

#Willdoes is dedicated to the memory of William Paddy, a sporty, charismatic child with a cheeky smile who lived in Swanage, Dorset. His life sadly ended early at aged 14. Will's mother, Les, set up #Willdoes to help young people who may be finding life tough and struggling to cope with daily life.

Story

Lesley has organised a team to take part in the Jurassic Coast Challenge walking 33km from Corfe Castle to Weymouth on Saturday 15th May 2021* along the Jurassic Coast for #Willdoes.

*Date to be changed due to Government Lockdown guidelines.

#Willdoes was set up in August 2019 by Lesley Paddy after the tragic death of her son William, aged 14 years. Charitable status was granted in December 2019.

The focus of #Willdoes is to promote any charitable purpose (including the promotion of education, physical health, mental health and social inclusion) and contribute financially to charitable projects for the benefit of young people in Dorset and the surrounding areas. Introducing young people to sports and other activities to help them connect and engage socially, rather than retreat to more insular gaming and social media pastimes is a core value.
