Story

WING WALK FOR BEAUTIFUL JESS 🌻

On 14th April 2022 Charlotte Taylor, Julie Markey Buckle, Lucy De Silva Puttick, Olivia Eden and myself will be participating in a wing walk to raise money in memory of beautiful Jess who tragically lost her life through an anaphylactic reaction to peanuts.

The money raised will go to Medical Alert/Detection Dogs. Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of human disease with the aim of developing faster, more efficient and less invasive diagnostics that lead to better patient outcomes. Medical Alert Assistance Dogs detect minute changes in an individual’s personal odour triggered by their disease and alert them to an impending medical event, helping them manage complex, life-threatening medical conditions and improving their quality of life.

On the day we will be strapped to a Boeing Stearman which was built in 1942 and initially used for pilot training during the 2nd World War. The aeroplane will fly between 100ft and 700ft and speeds between 80mph and 110mph.

Call us all crazy because we clearly are but it‘s for an amazing cause and a beautiful and unforgetable young lady who touched so many hearts ❤️🌻
