Winnie is currently going through chemotherapy for Leukaemia. She’s been an absolute trooper The Winnie Wigglers are friends and family who are aiming to raise as much money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital as a HUGE thank you for the support they have not only given Winnie and family but all the other families that visit.

"Our daughter Winnie is currently going through chemotherapy for Myeloid Leukaemia of Down syndrome. She’s been an absolute trooper so far and is doing really well with her treatment. The Winnie Wigglers are a group of friends and family who are aiming to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital as a HUGE thank you for all their hard work and support for Winnie and us but also for the hundreds if not thousands of families that they help each year.

Sheffield Children's Hospital have been amazing, and so professional and efficient in their care of Winnie. People from all over Europe come to the hospital because of their specialist skills. When Winnie had her heart problem we nearly had to go all the way to London for her operation but we ended up having it at Leeds, and what a massive relief that was. To have our supportive friends and family so close by, was such a massive benefit at a traumatic time. So to have Sheffield children's hospital on our doorstep as Winnie goes through her treatment for Leukemia has been such a massive blessing, a blessing that I hope that you never get to witness but if you do and you live close by, you'll be so happy that they are here and that they are so supportive. Meeting other families on the ward, most in a far worst situation then us and seeing what they are going through, every penny you raise will be a penny well spent I'm sure of that.
