Cure Leukaemia's London 2 Paris returns in 2023 for another fantastic 4-days of cycling, and this year is set to be our biggest year EVER and is an incredible experience!

Story

We are cycling approximately 500km, starting at Greenwich on the 8th June and finishing in Paris on the 11th to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.

The ride, which is over four days, is made up of 3 or 4 groups of varying ability, complete with support teams consisting of technicians, masseuses, ride captains and charity personnel, all taking part in one of the best amateur cycle rides available. The event has time trials, challenging climbs and a five-star finale, where we are escorted on the last day up to the Arc de Triomphe and then on to the Eiffel Tower with hopefully of friends, family and locals cheering us on. .

Cure Leukaemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
