Story

Over the course of 7 days WUTH maternity colleagues Dee,, Danielle, Libby, Jo and her daughter Sophia will be cycling 100km in order to raise money for Sands in support of baby loss awareness week. Working within obstetrics and midwifery - this is a cause very close to our hearts and we have seen some of the amazing work that Sands do to support families.

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Sands depends on the amazing energies of their supporters to raise the vital funds that they need to deliver the wide range of services that they offer. #Teamsands
