Story
As teachers, we see every day just how important books are. They’re a huge part of childhood. Books help children laugh, cry, wonder, challenge ideas and see the world through different eyes. They help children learn to read, write and spell, but they also spark imagination, build empathy and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
Books provide comfort and escape but they also encourage children to dream big. Every teacher knows the power of a good book to calm, soothe and uplift.
Without books, childhood would be a little less exciting, less colourful and less full of possibility.
That’s why we’re asking for your support in raising money for The Children’s Book Project, a local charity founded by West London mum Liberty Venn. Driven by a belief in the transformative power of books, the charity works to ensure that every child has the opportunity to own and enjoy books of their own.
Any donation, big or small, will help put books into the hands of children who need them most. Thank you for your support.
