Lutterworth YFC Cycle to Skegness!

Raising money for Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance
In memory of Jack “Woody” Woodward

Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day. We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.

Story

Lutterworth YFC are cycling to skeg! 🚲

Joined with members and friends from other Leicestershire YFC clubs, we are taking on the challenge of cycling 75 miles from Melton Mowbray Tavern to the Boathouse in Skegness, raising money for Our Local Air Ambulance (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) in memory of our member and friend Jack Woodward.

Jack sadly passed away last summer, he was a well loved member of Lutterworth YFC and is greatly missed by all who knew him. This March, we’ve decided to cycle to one of his favourite places - where we all have memories of him propping up the bar and grooving about to his favourite dance tunes on the Skeggy dance floor 🕺

Our Local Air Ambulance is an incredibly important charity for everyone, and especially those in rural areas. Donations enable The Air Ambulance Service to meet the clinical needs of patients by covering operational costs to ensure all our vital services are ready to respond.

The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions, so any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated.
