We are a fresh new team at York Outreach and we are committed to fundraising for the IDAS Big Yorkshire Tour 2021 to ensure anyone affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence can access support.

We see first-hand the impact domestic abuse and sexual violence has on survivors. IDAS supports over 15,000 people every year, providing lifesaving services including refuge accommodation, outreach services (that's us!) and support to children and young people.

The pandemic has only made our service even more vital. We see on a daily basis the increase demand for these services. Everyone deserves to live safe lives, free from abuse and violence. IDAS works tirelessly to support the people who need them.

As a team, we will be walking 100 laps of the York Walls in July to raise awareness and vital funds for IDAS. This amounts to over 200 miles in total.

Please give as much as you can. Anyone can be affected by domestic violence; it could be a family member, a friend, a work colleague, a neighbour, another parent in the playground. Anything you can give will ensure these people are support.
