Hell Runner – Hell in the Middle – 11 February 2012 · 11 February 2012 ·

Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

There are 1.6 million people in the UK affected by an eating disorder. Her determination to get her life back on track and to beat her eating disorder is the same determination we need to complete the race.

Chosing recovery and speaking out about her eating disorder took courage and stength, but the battle she faces in recovery is a long, tiring and draining.
