Story
On the 24th May 2014, Team Atlantis; a self-organised team will conquer and summit the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in the ultimate 24 hour team challenge all in aid of Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
Please help us with this endurance challenge by donating now to Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital. The money we raise will go directly to supporting children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
This demanding 3 Peak Challenge involves a total climb of around 10,000 feet, 25 miles walking, and 464 miles of driving - all in a 24 hour day.
The challenge starts at the foot of Ben Nevis, (1,344m/4,409ft) in the spectacular setting of the Scottish Highlands. Followed by Scafell Pike (978m/3,206ft) in the Lake District and finishes at the foot of Snowdon (1,085m/3,560ft), North Wales. Team Atlantis have to cope with changing clothes, eating, drinking and even sleeping as we travel to our next destination by road.
