Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year #TEAMBEV completed the London marathon and raised lots of money in aid of our dear friend Bev Connolly. We set up #TEAMBEV to raise money for the hospice where Bev was spending time following her treatment for cancer.

Very sadly Bev lost her fight against this cruel disease on the 22nd of January.  Bev was in the hospice when she died and had all of her family around her.  The hospice was a fantastic support for Bev, Paul and the children and back in November Bev asked us to help raise money for the hospice so they could buy an ultrasound scanner.

So, #teambev are back and we are going to complete 16  challenges in 2016. Very sadly Bev will not see us complete the 16 challenges but i'm sure she will be with us in heart and soul.  Bev had a real fight for life and would always put everyone before herself.  Bev will forever be in our hearts and would love the thought of us all working together to help raise money for the hospice.

As a team we will be running marathons, cycling from sea to sea, climbing the three highest peaks in Great Britain, swimming in open water and walking.  We will also be holding more gentle fundraising events such as afternoon tea and race nights.

Thank you for taking the time to donate and we will try our hardest to do Bev proud.

Love #TEAMBEV  xxx
