Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

<p>Thank you&nbsp;for visiting our fundraising page!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>WHAT WE ARE DOING:</strong></span></p> <p>"Team Debbie" will be cycling around the Isle of Wight on 1st May 2011 to raise much needed cash for The Rowans Hospice.</p> <p>Team members include Tony Hill (ugly brother number one); Roz Parry; Chris Hill (ugly brother number two); Szilvia Danka; &nbsp;Nick Hill (ugly brother number three);&nbsp;Vicky Hill;&nbsp;Tina Whale; Jaime Whale; Linzi Todd; Nikki Jeffrey; Darryl Jeffrey; Moby Whale;&nbsp;Sam Mawdsley-Rolfe; Greg Mawdsley; Dani Gontier; Clare&nbsp;Bullivant; Wendy Doblo and me, Rina Hill.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #000080;">WHY WE ARE DOING IT:</span></strong></p> <p>We are cycling in memory of Debbie Whale: a truly&nbsp;wonderful mother, daughter,&nbsp;sister,&nbsp;nannie,&nbsp;auntie and friend who lost her battle with cancer last July. We are indebted to The Rowans Hospice&nbsp;for their support when Debbie was ill and would&nbsp;like to raise as&nbsp;much money as possible.&nbsp;So, dig deep folks&nbsp;and give as much as you can!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>THE ROWANS HOSPICE:</strong></span></p> <p>It&nbsp;is a local charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.&nbsp;Established since 1994,&nbsp;it has helped more than 5,000 patients and families across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.&nbsp;The Rowans Hospice honours life and offer hope by providing specialist end of life care of the highest quality. Patients and those closest to them are guided&nbsp;through the journey of their illness, supporting them every step of the way.&nbsp;</p>
