Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is a Global Swimarathon with participants from every walk of life from schools to clubs, professionals to amateurs all swimming to help eradicate polio throughout the world. Polio affects the most vulnerable people from young children to pregnant women and is easily spread through poor sanitation. Dundee Carers Centre is renowned for helping the vulnerable which is why we have taken the plunge to swim as many lengths as  possible in 25minutes; A percentage of proceeds collected will also benefit the service users of the Centre as well contributing to the Global End Polio Now International Campaign.
