A team of 17 runners from IT, MSC, EO and HR are taking part in the Action Against Hunger's Corporate Challenge 10K run on Wednesday 7 September.
AAH is an international humanitarian organisation committed to ending child hunger and they hope to raise over £36,000 through The Corporate Challenge to help save the lives of malnourished children and their families.
As a sever food crisis sweeps across the Horn of Africa, an estimated 10 million people are faced with extreme food shortages, mass livestock losses and protracted drought-like conditions.
As a result of AAG's presence for nearly 20 years in the area, they are in a position to scale up the nutrition programmes in order to treat more children suffering from life-threatening malnutrition in Wajid and the Somali capital Mogadishu.
At this time, AAH need to raise vital funds more than ever. The funds that you donate can really make a difference and may be used to help those who are facing food insecurity in East Africa or to support on of AAH's other life-saving programmes.
