We're raising money for the Birmingham Midland Eye Centre. BMEC is one of the largest specialist eye centres in the UK, treating relatively common minor complaints through to Glaucoma, Cataracts and diabetic related eye conditions. We also provide treatments for rare conditions not available elsewhere in the UK.
We're taking part in the Birmingham Carrots NightWalk which is a night-time sponsored event raising money for eye research and to treat eye diseases.
The Carrots NightWalk is happening on Friday 20th September and walkers can choose between a 6 mile and a 15 mile city centre route.
Sight is the sense that people value most, yet it's often taken for granted. Take part in a Carrots NightWalk, enjoy some spectacular nightime sights and be reminded just how much the ability to see is valued.
