I am doing race for life in support of my mums diagnosis of breast cancer and for all you strong cookies out there going through the same thing, so come join our team so we can all kick cancers arse together. Btw also should mention that our team will be dressing up in everything and anything pink like tutus and everything, we dont do half measures! So yeah come join our team and ill love you forever. This year there are a few people I'll be running for. One being my grandad who we sadly lost to cancer years ago and who I miss every day, and his brother, my Uncle Ray, an equally wonderful man.
However since signing up for Race for Life my dad has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Anyone who knows him will know what a fantastic man he is, with a fantastic sense of humour (that I obviously inherited) and a permanently positive attitude that has always taught us to make the most of life and the opportunities you're offered. Every penny raised goes towards this fantastic charity aimed at destroying cancer, a horrible disease that has been around far too long.
I’ve never attempted to run anything in my life and we’ll be wearing tutus, so this could either be disastrous or hilarious (or both). Join our team or donate, we’re super cool so it’ll be worth it whatever you do.
