Llama explain a little bit about what's happening...you have arrived at the team page of Sally, Cerys and Leanne, collectively known as 'Game,Set, Machu Picchu!'
We're a pun-loving groups of friends off to Peru to trek to the Sacred Valley through jungles and along mountain trails until we reach the famous Incan Citadel of Machu Picchu...where we really hope there is a cafe because we will be absolutely gasping for a cuppa and a biscuit!
No cafe? No problem, alpaca the Tetleys!!
Jokes and puns aside, our joint aim is to raise as much money as we possibly can for the British Heart Foundation. Their incredible work and research has had a profoundly positive impact on each of us by improving the heart health of our family and friends. It is difficult to think about what life might have been like without their efforts. We are showing our thanks and appreciation for this by doing what we can to fundraise so that they can continue their hard work to carry on changing people's lives.
We will be fundraising in lots of different ways over the next few months and hope that you will help us whether that is by providing encouragement througout our training or making a donaton to our cause.
PLEASE NOTE: We are self-funding our adventure so all the money that we raise will go straight to our charity. Also please don't forget to gift aid for the extra awesome 25% which is paid out to all UK taxpayers.
