What are you doing, when and why?
My name is Jackie Cook, my Mum, Marcia, suffers with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis she was diagnosed in 1992 and to help raise greater awareness of this disease which doesn't get as much publicity as it should I will be using my cake making skills to help raise money for two local charities that help support those with the disease.
I'll be baking and delivering cakes, cupcakes, scones, shortbread as requested to friends and businesses in the the Sheffield area. I'll be asking for £10 per cake or £5 per batch of scones/cornflake buns. All proceeds going to the charity. So if it is someone's birthday, anniversary etc or 'it's Friday and your at work' whatever the reason and you would like to order a cake just let me know.
Which charity to support?
I've created pages to support both locally based charities please feel free to pick which one you would like to support.
Rotherham and Sheffield branch of the MS Society provides information, advice and financial support to those with Multiple Sclerosis and their families.
The South Yorkshire MS Therapy Centre provides a unique blend of non-intrusive, holistic, complementary therapies and practical mutual support mainly for people with MS and other neurological conditions, their families and carers.
