Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page. My name is Benita and I'm 12 years old. I was very moved by Malala's story and shocked that so many girls don't get an education or have basic rights in other countries.
Money raised will go to the QEH charity who have set up a fund in Malala's name, all monies raised will be allocated to that fund. This has been confirmed with the Hospital charity.
Please join us to help support Malala's cause for the rights of girls in Pakistan. Our target is on the right, we really would like to smash it! Please help us to do so, join us on the day SUNDAY 11th NOVEMBER at 10am at the Bristol to Bath old railway walk at the Ridgeway Road entrance.
You can do the whole walk with us or just part of it, there are loads of access points along the way. We will start at 10am and hope to finish around 2.30pm, taking a break halfway at the Avon Valley Railway and Cafe. Please do join us! Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
Where will your money go? The QEH have said: "The hospital charity has set up a fund to accept donations in support of Malala. When she is well enough we will ask her how she wants those donations to be spent in support of the care she is receiving."
So please dig deep and donate now.
