Wow we did it!!!Tracy, Helen, Joanne, Nicola, Paula, Stacey, Greg and Craig have joined together to raise money for cancer connections. We participated in the annual Boxing Day Dip. Whatever we raise our employer Santander will match. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
Cancer connections is a local charity based in South Shields, they are dedicated to serving individuals and families suffering from cancer and it's after effects. Offering emotional support, counselling and benefit advice. Something that is quite personal to some members of the team. Joanne has personally been affected by cancer recently and feels that this charity is invaluable in helping cancer patients deal with the emotional challenges that life brings during and after active treatment. Helen lost a dear friend to cancer so she has had personal experience of the work Cancer Connections do as they supported her friend during treatment.
