A good friend of mine, Lizzie Lee passed away in March this year. You'd have loved her, she was awesome. She mixed a wicked sense of humour with a selfless desire to help others. She did a huge amount for two charities. No5 Youth Counselling and Launchpad, who provide homeless support.
In honour of her memory, and to continue to support the charities she loved, I'm doing ten poetry gigs, in ten days, in ten cities, travelling between each one by pushbike.
Over 700 miles in all.
Each gig is also a fundraiser for a local charity.
