A few years ago Andrew Mayer broke his back for the second time whilst playing football. Due to the remote area where he lives, he was treated by the Welsh Air Ambulance. Andy is now fine and since then we have have been trying to organise a charity bike ride that would challenge us and raise money for this worthy and life saving cause.
We are now organising a 300 mile bike ride around Wales in just 3 days. The ride will start from the coastal village of Pontgarreg, in Ceredigion, the scene of Andy's accident. From here we shall ride North along the coast to the Welsh Air Ambulances' base in Caernarfon. The next Day we shall ride through the Snowdonia National Park to the Welsh Air Ambulances' base in Welshpool. The final day will take us through the Brecon Beacons to the Welsh Air Ambulances' base in Swansea.
8 riders - 3 days - 2 mountain ranges - 300 miles
