LEJOG 1000-mile Cycle
In March 2017 after spending 3 years living and working with sarcoma cancer, my Andy Radford, Jonathans Dad, Jenny's Uncle and Wendy's Brother-In-Law passed away.
Because sarcoma cancer is not as well-known it does not get the help from some of the bigger cancer charities and therefore as a family we would like to raise as much as possible to hopefully stop other families suffering.
To achieve this aim for 2018, we have decided to take up the challenge of cycling the length of the country. Lands End to John O Groats, 1000 miles, ascending the height of Everest nearly twice over.
We would therefore appreciate, if in Andy's memory, you could sponsor me. All the money will go to Sarcoma UK which uses its money for research and a helpline.
This is an awful form of cancer that mainly affects working age adults who live healthy lives. The main sign of the disease is a slight mark usually on the limbs and often with no discolouration. Andy noticed a mark about the size of a couple of postage stamps on 23rd December 2013, when they operated on the 5th March 2014 they removed a piece of his leg about the size of a melon. At present this is the only cure, but it wasn’t for Andy and it spread throughout his body and eventually to his brain.
Please help us help others.

Please Give through our JustGiving site, this is the most cost-effective way for a charity to receive money and is cheaper than administrating donations directly.
