As the title says, I’m going to have a haircut. I will be giving my hair to the Little Princess Trust (www.littleprincesses.org.uk) so they can make a wig for a child who has suffered hair loss. As it will be such a drastic haircut I am seeing if anyone will be kind enough to sponsor me and as you have made it to this page I’m hoping you will. Raising awareness and reducing the stigma for mental illness is really important, so I am going to be open about my situation and raise what I can so that people who need it can be helped too.
As some of you know I have been having therapy and counselling over the last year, so I feel this is a great way to give back to the charities who have made this possible for me. I’m donating to two charities, but JustGiving can’t divide donations, so I have made a separate page for each charity.
If you are kind enough to donate you have the option of picking the charity most important to you, or ideally keeping it even and splitting it equally between the two. Each page tells you about the charity and why I have chosen it.
