We are a group of friends who work for the same company, TJX Europe, who will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2017.
We will be raising money for Comic Relief, who will run their bi-annual Red nose day event in March 2017.
For the team, reaching the summit of Kili would be a massive achievement. For most of us this type of activity is new, for the others still a monumental challenge of endurance and courage. The team has come together and training is well underway.
Kilimanjaro is the worlds largest free-standing mountain at a massive 4,949m tall. The climb will take 6 days and all costs have been covered personally.
