This #GivingTuesday we aim to support our partners with the equipment that they need.
For more than 5 hours we will be gathering recyclable items in Playa del Carmen city green areas, which will be weighted and donated to a local family who will exchange it for food through a governmental program. For every 50 pounds we fund raise we will be picking up one 20liter bag of recyclable items. We are aiming to fund raise at least 500 pounds which means we will be collecting 100 bags.
At the Special Needs School, two of the Children need sponsorship for their therapies. Yara and Dani's mothers run the school and use their own wage to pay for their children therapies, leaving their families with a very low income
The Ludoteca (Toy Library) requires two cameras to take photos of the activities for their reporting processes, a projector for the ludoteca located in el Ejido, balls for the children to play with in their free time and a continued supply of clean drinking water.
The Vet Clinic requires surgery material to continue with their free/low cost permanent spay and neuter campaign.
