We have teamed together to do this whole adventure side by side. Being friends for 17 (ish) years now, we have been through everything together. Which means all of the ups but unfortunately that also means all of the downs. When Lucy was 15, her mum passed away to breast cancer after a tough battle for many years. It goes without saying that it affects all of those around, but it is that much harder when it affects someone you love so so much. Although I'm sure Wendy is eternally proud, what better way to make our mark than to raise as much money as we can in order to help others who have been in a similar position.
