Thanks for visiting my fundraising pages.
I've joined my fundraising pages together to raise money for two different charities - through two different sporting events. Early September sees me attempt an 11 mile swim in Lake Windermere (from the bottom to the top), for which I have chosen to fundraise for MIND, a mental health charity.
Two and a half weeks later I take part in 'The Windy Long One' - an endurance swim, cycle and run. Starting with a 5K swim in Lake Winderemere, we then cycle back to Nottingham (all completed over 3 days) and we aim to finish the event with the gruelling 26.2 miles of the Nottingham Marathon on the 4th day. As a team we are raising money for the John Van Geest Foundation funding research into Cancer.
In October I'm going to sit down!
I have trained for months to prepare for these events. I can't wait to give them a shot, and I am really proud to be supporting these two great causes along the way.
You don't have to give for a particular event - simply select the event that supports the charity of your choice. I appreciate any contribution towards either of them.
