Hundreds of Manchester Metropolitan University staff, students and alumni will be showing they’re #McrMetProud as part of Team Orange at the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 24 May 2020.

We’re delighted to offer 100 free staff, student or alumni entries to the Great Manchester Run for Team Orange members that raise £100 or more for the University’s inspiring First Generation scheme.
First Generation provides support for young people from Greater Manchester to be the first in their family to go to University.
Getting fit, having fun and making a difference for charity is a big part of the Team Orange #McrMetProud team spirit and every £1,000 raised for First Generation will provide a scholarship and transform the life of a young person in the Greater Manchester area.
Running as one of our First Generation charity runners is easy:
Join Team Orange from: www2.mmu.ac.uk/great-manchester-run/ and sign up as a ‘Charity runner’ (please be aware you need to pay your run entry fee initially).
If you haven’t already got your own JustGiving page – you can set one up at www.justgiving.com
Search and select ‘Manchester Metropolitan’ as your chosen charity when setting up your personal JustGiving page.
Once you’re all set up - please come back to this page and click ‘join the team’ and link your own JustGiving page.
Share you page with your family, friends and colleagues.
Once you’ve raised £100 or over, please contact the Team Orange team via email sport@mmu.ac.uk and your refund will be arranged.
