This is the fouth year that we have cycled from BAE Systems' Warton site in Lancashire to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. This journey signifies the journey from the birthplace of the RAF's Typhoon force to the Main Operating Base where it is so effectively put to use.
A team from BAE Systems, MoD Defence Equipment and Support, and the RAF will complete this 170 mile journey over 2 or 3 days arriving at RAF Coningsby on the 19th September 2011.
We are raising money for the partner charities for the BAE Systems Sites at Warton (ABF) and RAF Coningsby (RAFA) and for a number of other charities important to members of our team.
Team members are Cal Leonard, Matt Croft, Phil Nicholson, Mick Steel, Chris Holt, Gary Lee, Lee Rutlidge, Peter Stringfellow, Michael Poole, Tim Kilner, Adrian Cherry, Andy Terry, Gareth Brogan, Richard Baker, Paul Clare, Yoke Sun Yee, Dave Brown, Terence Thompson, Steve Worsnip, Rob Holland, Gareth Darney, Graham Jones, Karl Hay, Neil Smith, Paul Crisp, Peter Shelton, Gus Currie, Simon Price, Craig McClelland, Si Goodchild, David Grant and Jack Russell.
